prompt at the Old Sulians' Rugby Club, Lansdown, by kind permission of the Rugby Club.
Your attention is drawn to Rule 15, under which any member wishing to move a resolution or nominate an Officer
at the Annual General Meeting must give notice of his intention in writing to the Honorary Secretary, not less than

P D Powell Honorary Secretary.
AGENDA
There have been a number of developments recently relating to the responsibilities of Trustees, particularly in relation to Sports Clubs, in the event of financial claims being made against the club which it is unable to meet. As a result the Old Sulians Rugby Club is in the process of restructuring itself following the resignation of most of its Trustees. The Trustees of the Association have taken legal advice and the changes to the rules proposed above follow that advice, by distancing the Association from the Rugby Club to protect our Trustees. Full copies of the Rules will be available to those attending the AGM. This is a procedural matter and will not change the excellent relationship which we have had with the Rugby Club for many years.
News.
Sulians will be saddened to learn of the death of John Stevens, for many years the Sports Editor for the Bath Chronicle, rugby reporter and one-time Old Sulian.
Subscriptions are now due for 2000. Those few who did not cough-up for last year will have an individual letter from the President with this newsletter. Oblivion awaits those who do not reply by the end of February.
School Presentation Evening. The President and Mick Moore, amongst others, attended the evening in November last, when the Guest was Denis Silk. Word is that they enjoyed a few with him afterwards reminiscing on Rugby, Cricket and life in general.
Hopefully the May epistle will include some news from School. The head has promised an occasional synopsis on the happenings at Beechen Cliff.
The Dinner saw ex-staff regulars Mike Oura and Keith Hoskins joined by Glyn Maddocks and Peter Bazire. All were in fine fettle. Glyn had been 'encouraged' to attend by Graham Knight (1967) who managed to find 6 other '67ers. We wish Peter Beale, former biology guru, a speedy recovery after a minor stroke following a 5-a-side football match!
