I would have been in Form 3 at the time, and amongst my musical contemporaries were Michael Allard, Michael Hayward, Donald James, Robert Tucker, Dave Adams, and many more of Basher Bennett's prodigies!. I wonder how many of the 'class of 1945' (when I started at the CBBS) are still with us? On browsing through the Old Sulians website for the first time I came across the !947 photo, of which I still have a copy. What memories! But what sadness too when I think particularly about my dear friend Len Holt who happened to be standing next to me (with Bill Coles on the other side). Len used to call me 'Rusty' and I seem to recall we used to refer to you as 'John'. Hope to attend the 60 year reunion in July. Best regards to all.
